Massachusetts has a rich history and many of our cities and towns have capitalized on their past by investing in and promoting cultural tourism. Families from all over the globe visit to learn more about our unique history and see many of the still beautiful sights and structures.
Cape Cod could benefit from further investing in this niche of the tourism industry. There are things to see and do on the Cape that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Parents take their kids to the beach and then they can bring them to one of our many museums in these Cape communities. We need to accentuate the historical and natural aspects of the Cape. This is great for residents, small businesses and other industry here.
Cities and towns like Salem and Plymouth have been doing this for decades and it works to bring a more successful and vibrant community for all of us.
